BOOKING &   STUDIO   POLICIES

Ensuring Your Perfect Experience

To maintain the tranquility of our sanctuary and out of respect for our therapists' time, we kindly ask that you observe the following studio policies at our 4141 18th Street flagship.

1. Arrival Etiquette

  • The 15-Minute Rule: We recommend arriving 15 minutes prior to your scheduled appointment. This allows time for a personalized consultation and a peaceful transition into your ritual.
     

  •  Late Arrivals: To ensure the next guest is not delayed, late arrivals will result in a shortened treatment time. The full service fee will still apply.

2. Cancellation & Rescheduling

  • 24-Hour Notice: We require at least 24 hours' notice for any cancellations or rescheduling.
     

  • Late Cancellation Fee: Cancellations made with less than 24 hours' notice will be charged 50% of the service fee.
     

  • No-Shows: Guests who do not arrive for their appointment without notice will be charged 100% of the service fee.
     

  • Note: For "The Royal Thai Duet" or groups of 3 or more, we require 48 hours' notice.

3. Personal Belongings & Valuables

  • Responsibility: Thyme Thai Spa cannot be responsible for any personal items and/or valuables brought into the spa or left in your locker/treatment room.
     

  • Recommendation: Please leave your valuables at home. For your peace of mind, ensure all personal items are kept securely with you.

4. Sanctuary Atmosphere

  • Digital Detox: To preserve our peaceful environment, we ask that all mobile devices be silenced upon entry.
     

  • Quiet Voices: Please maintain a soft "spa voice" in all common areas to respect the healing journeys of other guests.

5. Health & Wellness

  • Consultation: Please inform your therapist of any health conditions, allergies, or recent surgeries during your check-in.
     

  • Pregnancy: Please notify us when booking if you are pregnant so we can provide the safest and most comfortable experience for you.

6. Gratuity

Gratuity is not included in our service prices. While entirely at your discretion, a gratuity of 18%–22% is typical in San Francisco for exceptional service and is deeply appreciated by our practitioners.
